Capitalism shapes our economies, our businesses, and even our daily choices. In a time of global uncertainty, it is important to pause and ask: how can this system evolve to better serve our shared future? 

Over two days, we will explore capitalism’s diversity, contradictions, and possibilities. Sessions will also look ahead to building sustainable futures, exploring the opportunities of space development, democracy’s future, and reimagining higher education. Especially, in the “Youth Session,” the students from UTokyo and Korea will present their findings and share insights gained from this international joint project. We look forward to seeing you at the Yasuda Auditorium!

In order to encourage researchers to make the best use of the survey data kept in the SSJ Data Archive, we conduct a short-term training program on the statistical analysis and the basic use of the statistical software package.

The seminars are aimed at junior and senior high school teachers and feature reports and question-and-answer sessions on the research results of ISS members. The aim is to help teachers deepen their understanding of the research being conducted at ISS and to have them apply what they learn to their teaching in junior and senior high schools.
